About the Founder - Doris Msibi
Doris Msibi is the Host of e-TV’s reality television show, Forgive and Forget and founder of SA Image Institute
She is a qualified Professional Image Consultant, Vice President of the Woman in Need Foundation SA and President of the Association of Professional Image Consultants South Africa. Doris also writes for the Jenna Clifford’s e-newsletter as well as Parable Magazine.
Msibi acted as a member of the panel of judges for the Business Woman’s Association Achievers Awards, Soweto Branch and was nominated for the Shoprite Checkers Woman of the Year in 2008. In 2007 the National Department of Transport appointed her as one of the “Road Safety Ambassadors”, in April the South African Professional and Business Women’s Network announced her as the “Inspiring Woman of the Month”, in August True Love Magazine named her “Woman on Top” and on the 26th of November of the same year she was named “Woman of the Week” by Woman24.com.
2006 saw Msibi reign as Mrs. South Africa Globe where she received the “Image of Globe Award” and was selected as one of the faces for their “SMILE” programme, a charity programme by dentists raising funds for the WIN Foundation. She also became an associate member of the Association of Image consultants International (AICI) in Iowa, USA in the same year.
Her interest and passion in the Personal Development realm began when she was 18 when she owned and managed Figures Academy of Modelling and Personal Development in Rosebank, JHB, SA. She also held beauty titles of Miss Soweto 2000, Miss Teen Gauteng 1999 and Miss Eldorado Park 1998. One of the projects closest to her heart is the Life Skills Programme she facilitates at Phafogang High School also in Soweto.
She believes that what she does is an extension of who she has become over a period of time and that each one of us exists for a specific PURPOSE and that it is our task to determine what that is. Her dream is to touch as many lives as possible, imparting her knowledge and skills and to many women in Africa learn to know, accept and love themselves for who they are because she believes there is nothing more attractive than a confident woman.
